I am really really sorry for the delay in posting about the band BBQ.
The past few days i've been trying to catch up on my studies and studying for tests.
ROAR. AND tomorrow i still have tests and make up tests.
BUT! I'm not going to delay posting anymore.
It's going to be kind of brief cause i can't really remember what happened.

On saturday, band members were supposed to meet at harbour front MRT station.
After awhile we were led to the bus stop to wait for bus.. 61(?)
After 5-10 minutes of waiting, andy went to check if the bus goes to tht bus stop.
ANDDD... NOPE! It doesn't!
We all went: "w
ah.."
Went back to the side which we were actually at to wait for the bus..
Bus came and we all boarded.
Then the bus was floooooded with band people. xD
Reached the bus stop where we had to alight..
Saw miss lee. She led us to the condo and before we went in, she told us we had to keep our volume down.
After going in, she told us that the day beforeour BBQ, there was a party and they made too much noise and the residents complained. =/
Two BBQ pits!
I can't remember who but if i did not remember wrongly.. I heard someone say..
Sec 3 and 4s relax. Sec 1 and 2s work! xD
At first i was really relaxing luh.
Sat down and chat with mei xian..
But then i started to feel guilty and went to help too.
Ms lim and mr teow came after 1 hour (?)
Mei xian and I tried to help start the fire. (which just wouldn't start after.. a looong time)
Then i told mei xian we should try fanning in the same direction and the same time so that the wind won't "clash" and thus, bigger wind! ((:
And mei xian started chanting "bu shuang" (not happy)
I joined in and fanned at the same time.
THEN! the fire got bigger! ((: YAY..
The drinks ran out and... miss lee (?) helped us ask if mrs chang could help us get some drinks on the way.
And mrs chang got 2 bottles of coke for us! yay!
The commitee members did a short skit for us.
Where andy is the conductor. and wen jie is the goddess.
A goddess who does tai ji that is. -_-"
Cutting of cake and presentation of mr teows farewell gift. )':
After that.. we had to clean up the area.
The later part.. I don't know. (because i left. my parents came mah..)
For the pictures.. I should be able to post it up on Friday.
I'm reaaaaaally really sorry.

On monday, we had to report at 6am.
After setting up our instruments, we did warm ups and.. before you know it, it's already 7.30am! - time to set off!
Upon arriving, we were asked to stand in our rows.
The marshall was super fierce arh! He actually counted down 5, 4, 3 , 2, 1. But we still weren't ready. Then he shrugged in a.. somewhat pissed off manner.
After we were in our rows, he explain that no playing of instruments in the holding area.
At the holding area we saw st andrews.
Miss Lee suddenly said that however miss lim looks in what she's wearing, don't exclaim.
Then! In my mind, suddenly this image of miss lim wearing an alarm clock suit appeared. xDD
But i knew it was impossible lah.
THEN! miss lim came out in her.. eh hem.. thingie. LOL. a long robe thing.. -_-
It was their (st andrews) turn to go into the tuning room.
When they played their tuning note in the tuning room i went o.o" cause it was very loud.
OUR turn to go into the tuning room!
tune tune tune..
Go out.. went upstairs..
Miss lim told us some stuff.. (I CAN'T REMEMBER! OMG.)
Our turn to go in..
Played sunrise first..
My turn to play the.. de de de de!~ you know! then si hao didn't come in!
I thought i played wrongly and wanted to stop.
But i saw miss lim mouthing something like..
nevermind. just continue.
After playing all our songs, we went off..
Mun yee broke down.
Saying that she squeaked and how bad it was.
BUT infact.. NO ONE HEARD HER SQUEAK ARH! (except for herself. -______-")
Then miss lim told us that we did our best and everything..
Then she went on to talk about the sec 4s.
I started to cry lah! Because stella taught me since i was sec 1.. and everything.
all the jokes we shared... )):
Went back to school for lessons..
I couldn't concentrate at all! I kept on huming the tune of to dance.. or war dance as miss lim says..
and i'm sure, many of you couldn't concentrate right!
After school, i saw alot of people already walking towards the band room. (i was at miss kong's homeroom.)
I quickly took my bag and everything and dashed to the band room. ANDD as a result i left the WHOLE packet of lollipops there.
At the band room, mrs chin talked to us..
saying that the band has come so far and that they are pleased with the results.
And miss lee announced that we got bronze.
Many people said that mr teow told us to prepare for a COP because our sunrise was not well played.
But seriously, up till the last moment, i still believed we still had a chance of getting a silver.
From where we started until where we are now, in such a short time..
Really. Nothing is impossible.
EH?! I write until so emo liao.
But seriously. Although we didn't get a silver which is what we aimed for, we have gained many things in the process of working towards this goal.
Friendships, endurance.. believing we can do it..
I'm sure all these are more important than the silver.
Alright.. I should stop here. in case i get even more emotional.

tomorrow is the day.
singapore youth festival - we've practiced so hard for it.
so lets
believe in ourselves and the BAND.
one for all, all for one. (:
please remember what miss lim said:
walk onto stage with
confidence.
play like a
professional.
and whatever happens, just focus and
do your best.
move with the music and play it with our heart. (:
heres some reminders:
trumpets, please remember to
bells up!
clarinets and oboes remember to
moveeee.
lastly, when we're standing up,
look straight with confidence. (:
lastly, project your sound INTO the audience and play it like the care bears. :D
anyway, yesterday was bukit merah secondary school's 39th speech day.
breakfast and lunch was provided and we found a miraculous hungry Li Ting.
heres what she ate -
after the performance, we set up for combine in the hall.
percussion was on the table, 4th row was on the canteen benches.
and 1st, 2nd, 3rd row was on chairs.
just like how we'll be sitting in the conference hall.
lastly, miss lim had this talk with us.
which nearly made us cried and of course, made us laughed.
